Contributor Agreement

This Contributor Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the submission of recipes and related content (“Content”) to Home Cooked Dishes. By submitting content to the website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

If you do not agree with this Agreement, please do not submit content.

  • You have full legal rights to share it

You agree not to submit:

  • Content taken from cookbooks, blogs, or other websites
  • Content that infringes on copyrights or trademarks

Home Cooked Dishes reserves the right to remove content that violates these requirements.

3. Moderation & Editorial Rights

All submitted content:

  • Is subject to review and moderation before publication
  • May be edited for clarity, formatting, grammar, or consistency
  • May be accepted, rejected, or removed at any time at our discretion

Edits will not alter the core recipe without reasonable cause.

4. License to Use Submitted Content

You retain ownership of your content.

By submitting content, you grant Home Cooked Dishes a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

  • Publish and display your content
  • Distribute and promote your content
  • Use your content in connection with the website and its marketing

This license allows Home Cooked Dishes to operate and grow the platform.

5. Public Display & Attribution

You understand and agree that:

  • Approved recipes will be publicly visible
  • Your username or chosen display name may appear with your content
  • Content may be shared on Home Cooked Dishes’ platforms or social channels

6. Advertising & Monetization

You acknowledge that:

  • Advertisements (including Google AdSense ads) may appear on pages containing your content
  • Home Cooked Dishes may earn revenue from advertising

At this time:

  • Contributors do not receive payment
  • No revenue sharing or compensation is guaranteed

Future monetization opportunities may be introduced at Home Cooked Dishes’ discretion.

7. No Employment Relationship

Submitting content does not create:

  • An employment relationship
  • A partnership or joint venture
  • Any obligation for compensation

8. Removal of Content

You may request removal of your submitted content.
Home Cooked Dishes may retain archived or cached versions for technical, legal, or operational purposes.

9. Prohibited Content

You agree not to submit content that:

  • Is offensive, harmful, or inappropriate
  • Contains spam, promotional links, or affiliate marketing
  • Makes medical, nutritional, or health claims
  • Violates applicable laws or regulations

10. Termination

Home Cooked Dishes reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate contributor accounts
  • Remove content that violates this Agreement or other site policies

11. Disclaimer

Recipes are shared for informational purposes only.
Home Cooked Dishes is not responsible for:

  • Cooking results
  • Allergic reactions
  • Dietary outcomes or food safety issues

Users are responsible for reviewing ingredients and following proper food safety practices.

12. Changes to This Agreement

This Contributor Agreement may be updated at any time.
Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued submissions indicate acceptance of updated terms.
